About the Project:

I had the opportunity to create a button design for the Cleveland Asian Festival! The Cleveland Institute of Art had a booth at the event and allow anyone to color the illustration and create the button on site of the event.

The concept behind the sketch is about summer tea drinks. Cleveland AsiaTown has a couple of shops that sell bubble tea and fruit teas such as Koko Bakery and Mango Mango. These drinks gave me some inspiration to create a button sketch of a fruit tea with cute characters that would be fun to color at the festival while imagining people carrying their own boba/fruit drinks at the outdoor event.
