About the Project:

I had a great opportunity to work with the Cuyahoga County Public Library to create a large painting that was then later transformed into library cards, t-shirts, tote bags, and little notebooks. You can grab a new library card at any Cuyahoga County Library branch in Cleveland. Information about the painting is down below:

What if books had the ability to play the narration of the story in front of you like a movie?

The story behind this question starts with the definition of a library. The definition from Merriam Webster describes the library as a “building or room containing collections of books, periodicals, and sometimes films and recorded music for people to read, borrow, or refer to.” To add to this definition, a library is also a place where community members/residents can gather to hang out, hold events, and be in the prey of people as they learn and grow together.
The drawing illustrates a scenery with various characters in a library looking at books together and seeing the narration of the novels coming to life in front of them. Everything is coming to life once you open a hook. Learn all the small and big wonders together!
